From the Foster:

This boy is as handsome as they come. He is 65 pounds of pure love. But don’t let his size intimidate you because he is the definition of a gentle giant. He is gentle with children, adults, and seniors. He has not one ounce of aggression in his body. When you come home you can expect to be smothered in kisses.

He is also a very smart boy. After about one hour of being at our house he knew which door was to go out for potty and which door was to go out for a walk. Since he is such a big boy and doesn’t fully understand how strong he is he does pull a bit when walking but does much better with a harness on. He does not enjoy being in a kennel. But no need to fear because he does GREAT just being left out in the house. He knows a couple of tricks too! He can sit, shake (other hand), and lay down. And he takes his treats very gently. He does excellent in the car. He loves to go for rides too!

He is truly a goofy boy! He loves to hold a toy in his mouth about 90% of the time he is awake. He loves to greet you when you come home with a toy. He is classified as a “super chewer” which means stuffed animals don’t stand a chance against him. He loves to play outside too. He loves other dogs. But he is a “in your face” type of player. So your dog should be able to handle that.
