From the Foster:

Personality
Hulu is curious and energetic (until she’s not and she’ll happily crawl into my lap to crash for an hour or two) and loves to chase down tennis balls and run back with it for me to throw again. She doesn’t like to be separated from her people, especially if she can see us in another room through the closed baby gate. She loves playing with our resident pup, Jackson, and when she’s ready to get some shut eye (she takes about 3-4 naps a day), her favorite place to curl up is tucked into Jackson’s belly and they cuddle and sleep and it’s almost too cute to bear.

Crate Training
She’s doing pretty well at crate training. She sleeps in her crate at night and only whines slightly when we put her in. She will whine about 3-4 hours into the night for a bathroom break but after we bring her out, she’s good until 6:30 or 7:00 AM.  During the day she hangs out in our kitchen with Jackson while we’re at work so has free reign to run around a bit and look outside, which is where we often see her on our home camera, just hanging out and observing the backyard squirrels. In terms of length of time left alone, it can’t be much longer than 3 hours at this age unless you’re ok with subbing in puppy pads for outdoor activity. I definitely would not have her locked in a crate all day so her perfect family would have a larger area of the home (kitchen, large bathroom, mud room, etc.) where she could hang out, run around, and chill whenever you’re away.

Potty Training
She’s learning but is still in the early stages of understanding that peeing and pooping is an outdoors only activity. Given another few weeks and/or months of consistent training, she’ll be a pro!

Final Word
Hulu’s exterior cuteness is matched only by her adorable and eager personality. She is such a people person and her perfect family will be one looking for a sidekick/cuddle buddy. She will be a great addition to a family ready to take on the training and energy of a puppy!
