From the Foster:

Hi!  I'm Arnie and I thought I would tell you little bit about myself.  My foster mom keeps telling me that I'm such an angel so I think that is a good thing :)  She also tells me that I'm super smart and that she can't get over how well behaved I am.  I'm a pretty chill dude whose favorite spot in the house is laying on our big sectional.  I love love love being with my foster parents and I get excited to meet any other people or pups on our walks together.  My mom tells me how well behaved I am with everyone- even smaller dogs that bark at me- I just like to stay chill and relaxed.  I have never nipped even once at anyone and am really gentle taking treats from my foster parents' hands.  I love to give my foster parents hugs and lots of kisses.  My foster mom says I'm a real sweetheart and she says I'm so handsome too.  I'm already getting attached to her which shows how loyal I will be to my new parents.  I love to snuggle and I already know a lot of commands like come, sit and sometimes I listen to stay.  My foster mom tells me that she can't believe how awesome I walk on a leash.  Sometimes she says she worries that I slipped off the leash because that's how good I am about not pulling.

I'm very food motivated and if you tell me not to do something I learn very quickly.

I am still a puppy though so my foster mom and dad keep an eye on me for now.  Most of the time they can get lots of stuff done while I lounge on the couch like a good boy but every once in awhile I'll start to chew on something I shouldn't.  I am only 8 months though so I don't think you have to worry about me doing that forever- you just have to remind me that that isn't for me to chew on.  Give me a rawhide type bone and boy I am one happy camper :)

I came from the South so I'm still getting used to this cold weather here too.  I tend to go potty right away outside when my foster mom takes me out which makes her really happy.  I'm not quite sure how to tell them when I have to go potty though so I'm working on that.  Because of this, if my foster mom and dad forget to take me out every once in awhile I may have an accident in the house... but there have only been 3 minor accidents total and I never have accidents while I'm in my crate.  My mom says that's really good for all the changes I've been thorough this week and that I'm doing awesome.

Ideally I would love a home where people or another dog is there with me most of time.  I don't like being in my crate and will cry if I'm left alone.  I stop crying after awhile but I would be so much happier in a home where I am some company with me.  When I was crated next to another dog that was crated on Thanksgiving- I didn't cry once because I really enjoyed the company.

I can't wait to find a loving family to love me dearly and hopefully spoil me silly.  My foster mom says that I'm a gem and will be a blessing to the lucky family that gets to adopt me.
