From the Foster:

Sweet Mia is one of the most gentle, silly and loveable little pups you will ever meet! She can be a little timid at first when meeting bigger dogs but she will happily run up to meet cats, smaller dogs and people with her tail wagging. Her favorite thing in the world is to be with her people and dog friends. Mia loves to cuddle, toss toys around and will ever chase a laser point with our youngest cat! She loves to play but isn't hyper at all. She is just as happy to lay down and cuddle with you in your lap or go into her crate at bedtime.
Mia is using puppy pads right now but we are working on getting her trained to go outside. This has been a little harder in the colder weather because she's too small for even the smallest dog jackets (she actually has to wear a kitten harness because dog ones don't fit but ssshhh don't tell her that)! She LOVES being outside and does wonderful with her leash and harness on her walks.
This little one is so full of love and trust and is just waiting for her person or family to come along and give her all the love she deserves.
*Mia does have a cleft lip/palate defect, she will be evaluated again at 6 months and possibly have surgery.  Secondhand Hounds will cover this surgery with our approved vet.  More information about this procedure will be emailed to each potential applicant after your application is received*
