From the Foster:

Jayleen is a wonderful, affectionate, cuddly pup. She crates well at night and during the day, no accidents in her crate and no barking. She is about 90% house trained and getting better everyday. She is VERY smart and treat (especially cheese and chicken) motivated. We are working on walking on a leash, as a typical former stray dog she is just not sure why she has to be on one and would rather run free.  She has not had any trouble adapting to life in a house, she is a total couch potato but always down for a walk or spending time outside, as long as she is with her people. She likes small tennis balls, filled kong balls and soft, squeaky toys and is good about entertaining herself with these items. As a true Southern Belle from Alabama, she gets along with everyone, including other dogs, is on the quiet side and is very polite about taking treats and food. We are not sure about how she would do with cats or kids but wouldn't imagine either would be an issue. She will make a GREAT companion dog for anyone looking for a dog that will be by their side no matter what.
