From the Foster

Thanks for stopping by my page!  I am sure my handsome, ginger self caught your eye but if that wasn't enough, let me tell you all the great things about me.  My foster mom tells me I am the best foster pup she has had yet!  I am three so I am past that crazy puppy stage and I like to be pretty calm.  Mom laughs at my snores but the couch is just so comfy it just makes me so so sleepy.  Because I am the goodest boy I know that I should go potty outside and if I wait by the door, the humans will let me go out to do that.  I LOVE going on walks, although mom says I am built like a body builder that forgot leg day.  Even though I am strong I don't pull on my leash, I know we will get where we are going.  I know how to behave on a leash but sometimes I get distracted by a smell and like to take my time. Mom says about a mile and a half is a good distance for me.  I am not too interested in toys.  I would rather just snuggle up with a pillow and have the humans cover me up with a blanket.  Speaking of humans, they are my favorite!  I want to be by them all the time.  My favorite thing is when I have one by my head and one by my bottom and both are petting me!  I am content just cuddling or even watching them get ready for the day.  As long as I can see them, I am happy.  I do OK in the crate but mom says I don't need it, she doesn't even put me in there anymore.  She lets me have the bedroom all to myself and I just hang out there while she is at work.  If it weren't for those cats, she says I would be allowed to have the whole house but she thinks the big one might swat me.  I'm not too sure what she is thinking though because I don't really care about the cats.  Mom told me to leave them alone so I do.  The little one rubs up against me sometimes and I let her do her thing and keep on going about my day.  I haven't hung out with any dogs since being in Minnesota but mom says they told her I was good with them.  I did meet a little girl yesterday. She was 2 and I loved getting her pets and I told her that with the most gentle lick I could give her.
I am a polite boy, I don't jump up on anyone.  I will sit on command as long as you have a treat in your hand.  Why would I do any tricks without a reward?  I do get a little bit sad at night because I would rather sleep with my foster mom and the kitties in her bed but for now, I sleep in the guest room.  If I do whine, mom just says my name and I know she is there and I go to sleep.
So what do I want in my forever family?  Love.  I just want love and snuggles and attention. I like walks and I like outside but I am a pretty chill dude.  If you're looking for a running partner or someone to help wear out another dog in the home, I might not be the dog for you.  But, if you want a dog who is darn near perfect, calm, cool, and collected, loving and gentle then look no further, you found me =)
