From the Foster:

Hi! I'm Hunter. I was pretty shy when I first got here to MN, but now that I am getting comfortable in my foster home, the hound and beagle in me is not shy about letting my humans know what I want, and that I want it on my time, not theirs! For this reason, my foster mom says I probably would not do well in a shared wall environment. She tells me I'm lucky we have nice neighbors that don't complain about my barking, at least so far!

I really wasn't sure what a leash was when I got here, but now if my humans grab it, I sit by the door waiting to outside. I'm still a little unsure about walking on the leash. When other dogs outside bark, or when a car goes by, I get scared, and want to be held. As for potty training, well, lets just say it's a work in progress, but I do go every time I am outside.
I love playing with my foster brother and sister, although they don't always love playing with me. I have all the puppy energy, and they don't always appreciate it. I haven't met a human I don't like. I love kids, but am a little too jumpy (again, puppy) so need to be watched close with them. My foster mom is working hard with me on sitting. If you have a treat or food, I'll sit every time!

I love to chew. Toys, cords, anything I can get my mouth on. My humans have a big basket of toys to keep me busy, and I take every single one out, and put them all over the house for my humans to pick up. As soon as they pick them up, I decide I need the one on the very bottom, and take them all out again! It's a pretty fun game!

Anyway, my foster mom tells me every day how absolutely a dorable I am. I LOVE to snuggle, play fetch, and steal my foster brothers toys. I would really like a furry sibling, but it's not a deal breaker as long as I get a lot of love and attention from my humans!
