From the Foster:

Gumby is a very sweet and affectionate boy! He has really attached himself to me, and loves being right by my side all day. He is very snuggly and affectionate. He enjoys running around the fenced yard with other young and  fun loving dogs, but also lives contentedly beside older dogs that aren't playful. He is a fun loving little spirit, and would enjoy an active life with some walks, or a big yard and some people to play with, yet he is just as happy to lounge and hang out! He has possibly never known toys before, but is learning to appreciate them with his playful nature.

He enjoyed playing fetch with my 8 year old grandson, but was both jealous and leery of my 18 month old grandson whom he grumbled at a few times, so definitely only respectful kids who understand boundaries (probably 6+). He is getting the hang of potty training, with some occasional accidents still - we aren't even sure if he was ever potty trained before, so he is doing great! he is also learning crate training, with a bit of complaining at first, he settles down quickly.

He has struggled some with my husband, where he will tense and bark at him when he comes home from work, but will settle down at night with some coaxing and rewards from him. However, it is ongoing and we are working on it with him. He doesn't have the same reaction to my adult son who also lives in the house, so it isn't an 'all men' thing.

Overall, he is a wonderful (and obviously adorable) dog who will make a great addition to almost any family!
