Hi!   I’m Yukon…nice to meet you!   I’ve only been here in Minnesota a little while, but it sure seems like an awesome place.   I had it kind of rough before I got here, but everyone has been SO nice to me so far.

I live with a really nice family and I think they kind of spoil me. Given my past, I took me a little while to be sure about them.   Life wasn’t always so kind to me, so I had to be really cautious about trusting people.   I think my foster family might have been a bit sad about how scared I was, but I just had to be sure these were people who wouldn’t hurt me, especially if I made a mistake.

Even now, I’m sometimes a little bit shy with them, but mostly I trust them now.   I like to follow them around and see what they are up to.   And I just love to snuggle with them as much as I can…cuddling in laps in the BEST, but cozy blankets and comfy dog beds are pretty amazing too!   I get to choose from THREE different dog beds…sometimes I wake up and move to different bed just because I can!

They got me this thing called a kennel, but they haven’t made me sleep in it.   But sometimes I hang out there during the day when they are gone. It’s nice & cozy and I don’t mind going in there and I keep it clean.

My foster mom says I should tell you that my what she calls ‘house training’ is near perfect.   There have been just couple times I haven’t been able to get her to realize I need to go out, but that is it.

So I’d love to meet you, although I might be a little shy and scared at first.   You’ll just have to be patient with me and give me some space and a safe spot until I’m sure you are good people and then let the snuggling commence!
