From the Foster:

Drake can’t sing but I promise, he is super cute and full of wiggles.

Some things that you should know about him:

People friendly – Drake is pretty shy at first but once he comes around, he is all wiggle butts. His butt wiggles extra hard especially when he sees you. He is a huge love bug and he loves getting attention. He sometimes thinks that he is a small lap dog and will literally come and lay on you.

Dog friendly - Currently lives with a female black lab and is very patient with her when she forces him to play.

Eating – He’s a bit of a slow eater but does finish his food. At first he did not know what treats were, but he has learned that treats are good and delicious.

Potty - Drake is potty trained but he does get scared easily and will pee when startle or is being pushed.  So, having a belly band for the first 2-3 days until he gets used to a new home would be best.

Crating – He’s learning that when he goes into his kennel, he gets treats. Sometimes he will just go in there to get away from the other dog so he doesn’t have to play. This really only last a few minutes.

Obedience – Drake doesn’t have much obedience, but he is working on sit and stay. His recall isn’t that great. He will sometime come when you call him and most of the time he just looks at you and walks away. But he’s currently working on it. He is really good on walks and pulls very little. He’s pretty good about not pulling when he see’s other animals as well. As mentioned above, he is still learning that the kennel is a good place to go to but he requires bribes. With all that is said, he still does need additional training.

Energy – Moderate energy but will play if someone initiate it. Otherwise he’s just laying down or sniffing around. When he does get tired, he likes to go lay in his bed in the bedroom.
