From the Foster:

Frankie is such a sweet and gentle boy! He LOVES playing with his toys and tossing them around. He is a huge cuddler and wants to be right next to you on the couch. Because he loves his people so much, it would be best for Frankie to not be left alone more than 4 hours at a time. Someone who works from home or has family at home during the day so Frankie can roam around the house and have company would be ideal. He is fully potty trained and also crate trained, and he likes going into his crate when it's just left open in the house. He knows sit and is learning "stay" and "come" too. Frankie needs a single level home as he has some hip pain that seems to have developed over the years. Due to this, the vet thinks he will need to be on medication long-term and so a house with stairs won't be good for him, especially as he gets older. He is also afraid of stairwells, but is great with front steps or deck steps! He also loves being with our dog and takes cues from him, so another mature yet gentle dog would be great for Frankie, but it's not necessary. A fenced in yard would be nice for Frankie as he loves to run and explore - he is very much a hound and loves to sniff and follow after all of the smells! He enjoys hanging on our screened in porch and just watching the birds.  Frankie doesn't need much except for lots of love and cuddle time and soft toys around the house for him to toss up in the air and play with!
