From the Foster:

Oh my goodness, where do I even start with sweet Beauregard.  He is AMAZING. Within the first few days of coming to our home we have learned so much about this loving boy.  I am thinking he is potty trained because we haven’t had any accidents, yay!  He is also a champ in his kennel at night and while we are at work during the day, but I really don’t think a kennel is necessary for him.  He is a very well behaved boy!  Could it get much better?? I am afraid so -

Beau has become best friends with our dog who is about the same size as him.  Whether they are chasing each other around our yard, playing tug of war, wrestling, or napping in the living room, they get along amazingly!  But Beau also treasures his time with people.  He is so full of love and isn’t afraid to give my hand a nudge if he is in need of more pets! How can I say no to a cute wet nose just wanting more love? I can’t!

Beauregard is also in love with the kids in our neighborhood (I think it is mutual)! He is so calm and sweet around them and loves all the head scratches they have to offer.  He pays them back in soft wet kisses, and who can complain about that?!

Beau is a pro at bath time! Much better than our own dog who runs and hides.  He doesn’t mind anyone handling his feet, which is necessary with this muddy spring weather! He also is really good about his fur getting brushed, although he would much prefer to let it air dry while he runs laps through the house!

Beau loves to go for walks and doesn’t pull much when walking with a harness, so he would make the perfect walking buddy!  He loves all the smells of the outdoors, and while he is curious about some of the new sounds, they don’t seem to scare him at all!

On our first trip to the dog park, Beau played well with furry friends of all sizes! He also made sure to introduce himself to all of the people at the park.  Everyone that met him fell in love! Especially a sweet little girl who tried to convince him to play fetch! While he hasn’t quite caught on to that yet, he did greatly appreciate all the scratches behind his ears.

Toys seem to be a new thing for Beau. It has been so wonderful to watch him open up and get more comfortable.  He definitely has a goofy side that is starting to shine through!    While he isn’t much of a ball chaser yet, he likes to find new toys and bring them to the dog bed in our living room where he will chew on them for a bit before coming to ask for some more pets.  He is just so sweet!

Beau is the perfect family dog, the only reason we aren’t keeping him to ourselves is because I know there is a family out there that is so deserving of his never ending love.  Anybody would be lucky to have as perfect of a dog as Beau!
