From the Foster:  Hello!  Orlando is a sweet rambunctious puppy who, after a few medical procedures, is on the search for his very own forever home!  Orlando was surrendered to Secondhand Hounds at about 3 weeks of age after it was discovered he had Swimmers Syndrome and Pectus Excavatum.  He had a chest brace placed in order to mold his sternum outwards and allow it to grow the correct way.   He's doing fantastic now but it's important to know this MAY have limited effects on him later in life including (but not limited to)-quicker to tire during exercise and shortness of breath.   After therapy his Swimmers Syndrome has also resolved and he has been cleared for adoption.  However, he has shown signs of weakness in his hind leg and, while he's doing fantastic now, down the road his forever home must understand it's possible he may need additional procedures/therapies later in life.   I'm happy to discuss both of his past issues and his future outlook further with interested applicants!

Orlando is and Olde English Bulldogge, not to be mistaken for the short (often) chunky English Bulldog Breed.   Orlando will be a BIG BOY when he grows up....for comparison mom is 75-80 pounds and dad is 70-75 pounds.  Orlando loves other dogs, in fact would love to have a playmate in his forever home.   He thinks cats are fantastic and loves to entice his feline buddy to play.   Kids are the best little playmates in Orlando's eyes, and make fantastic snuggle buddies after a good play session.  Orlando plays hard but he also snuggles hard.   He's already a brewery aficionado and is looking forward to finding a family to explore his little world with!
