From the Foster:

Mouse is an incredibly sweet and smart dog!

He gives kisses on command and loves to retrieve a plush squeaky toy.  Mouse needs lots of stimulation- Kongs, Greenies and anything he can thrash!  He LOVES other dogs — OMG, please don’t make him live without a canine playmate, however, his furry companions may get tired before Mouse does! He has lived with two large female pit mixes, and currently lives with a small Chihuahua and can adjust to both size's play limits. Mouse does great with my 4-year-old daughter.  She can handle him/ carry him/ get in the middle of the dogs' play sessions, and Mouse does not nip/growl/anything!  I'm very impressed with his temperament.

Mouse's  forever family should be experienced with dogs, and if someone has never had a high energy puppy before, he might be a tough one to start out with.

He is working on house training, and needs to be let outside frequently. While he doesn't signal his need to go outside, he will usually go when you put him out, and he holds it all night long while snuggling with his human fosters!

Mouse has a previously injured rear leg that is all healed, but it affects his gait some. It is not surgical at this point, and surgery would change his gait again by shortening his leg, so as long as he's not in pain, which he is not, he will continue to have a normal puppy life!
