From the Foster:

Ophelia is a very smart, high energy dog. She loves to run and jump and run and jump some more. She likes to be busy and when she is not busy she tends to find trouble.
She gets along well with our resident dog though she can be a pest when our resident doesn't want to play.
She does well in her crate but does well left out too. When we go for walks we use a gentle leader and are working on walking nice and not pulling. She gets very excited when she sees other dogs and needs to be reminded of her manners.
She likes to be close to us but she keeps her distance while we are eating. She really listens well and she is eager to learn and please.
My ideal home for Ophelia would be an active one. A fenced yard would be a plus, but not a must. She will need to be exercised every day whether it's a long walk or a dog park visit or a run or possible some agility training.
It does take her a bit to show her full personality and she does do some howling so shared walls may not be ideal.
Ophelia was treated for heartworm disease. Please let SHH know if you have any questions!
