From the Foster:

Ophelia is a really fun dog to have around the house. She has a ton of personality and likes to be where you are, but is really good about staying out of the way.

She is house trained and knows basic commands like sit and stay, shake and lay down. She is very smart and seems motivated to learn. She is getting better at walking on a leash and we currently use a Gentle Leader with her and she does really well. She is crate trained but we usually give her free roam of the house.

Ophelia is always excited to meet new dogs and people and loves to have her belly rubbed.  She does well with our 11 year-old resident dog and is good at reading clues when our resident dog isn't really up for playtime.

She will play fetch with a Frisbee or a ball for as long as your are willing to throw or until she is really tired. She is great with kids who are a little older and are familiar with dogs.

A fenced yard would be great but it isn't necessary. She is a pretty curious gal and she likes to keep an eye on the neighborhood. She is also happy to lay around in the grass in the sun or shade and she is not much of a barker..

Ophelia is a great companion and would love to find her forever family.
Ophelia was treated for heartworm disease. Please let SHH know if you have any questions!
