From the Foster:

Update: I went to my first adoption event the other day.  I was so fun met lots of people and got lots of love.   hope I saw my forever person or persons there.  After the event my foster parents and I had a talk.  They asked me what I thought about going to a home where I was the only dog.  I thought about it and even though I do like that companionship I think I would also be really happy where I was the only dog.  That just means there is more treats and pets and attention and... oh you get the picture.  I hope to see you soon.

Hi my name is Annie Perry and I came a long way from Alabama.  I am enjoying my time with my foster parents and foster brother and sister.  They are really helping be to learn how to dog.  Before coming here I was really shy and timid.  I still am shy and scared sometime but my foster parents have helped me become more confident (or at least that what they tell me).  I really like my foster brother and sister.  They treating me really good and sometimes like to play.  I like it outside.  There are so many smells and they have a tree that I love going under.  It helps to scratch my back and it feels really good.  Now that it’s getting warmer outside I love to sit outside and just watch.  I heard my fosters and they said they thinks i should go home to a family with another resident dog.  I think that would be good too.  I still am experiencing so much in this world and would really like to have someone to help guide me through life.  I think my favorite time of the day is when my fosters parents go to bed.  I love sleeping in there bed with them and cuddling.  I feel really safe in there with them.  I am not sure how I feel about little kids.  I think as long as they are gentle and not so energetic when trying to give me attention we would get a long fine.  I hope to come home with you and your family soon.

I was recently treated for heartworm disease. Please let SHH know if you have any questions!
