From the Foster:

Emma is a sweet yellow Lab girl that is very calm and loving and very shy. She listens well and knows how to sit. She is shy of strangers and doesn't like loud noises or voices. She will run to her crate for security often when she feels insecure. Emma walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks.
Emma needs a fenced in yard to do her potty business as she does not like to pee or poop on a walk on a leash and will hold herself with is really difficult. She will then wander away when you are not looking and pee and poop in the kitchen.
However she is fully house trained if you let her out in a fenced yard area. Emma would do best in a quieter home and does best with females she likes her big crate in the kitchen but also loves her dog bed looking out of the window during the day. Emma needs a loving patient owner that can continue to build her confidence.
She loves having other dogs around but does get a bit bossy with our dogs. She becomes Top Dog in a pack and can snap at the other dogs.
She has a very fierce bark; not what you would expect from her and alerts you to anyone approaching or anyone she sees around the house outside.
She enjoys car rides but will not jump into the car you have to pick her front feet up and place them of the back seat of the car and then lift her in.
She is a real treasure and who ever is lucky enough to adopt her will have an amazing companion.
Her new owner needs to be calm and loving towards her.

Emma  was recently treated for heartworm disease. Please let SHH know if you have any questions!
