Hi I’m Riley, My foster sister thinks I am a little annoying, because I have so much energy and want to play most of the day. I can relax a little bit but not for long, I pace a lot. I need someone that likes to be active and I don’t mean ones in a while, every day. So, if you like go for long walks, run, throw balls (I’ll retrieve them), can put up with squeaky toys (I love them), train me (need it) and love me, I am your gal. I am house trained, I tolerate my kennel but I avoid going in there (don’t kennel me all day and all night), right now I don’t have to be in the kennel at all, I pull when I go for walks (my foster parents are trying to teach me not to but it’s so hard, it helps a little when I wear a ThunderShirt), I have a very high pray drive and a very sensitive nose (I love the scent of wild creatures), I love other dogs and people (big or small) and I like to bark at strange noises or if someone is lurking outside or if I see a squirrel ( so no shared walls). When I meet new people, I have to give them so much love a I have a tendency to jump (we are working on that too). When I encounter new people/things, I get so excited and a little bit anxious but it passes after a while. If I don’t get my exercise my anxiety goes up several notches. My foster mom says I am a “2 second dog” in the kitchen and I try to check what’s on the counter but mom says I can’t (we are working on that too). I do like ro bark some so shared walls aren't for me! Fun fact: I will do almost anything for a mandarin. My foster parents say I am a beautiful, intelligent and sweet girl (but a handful) and I will be an even better dog when I find my forever home. Are you it?
