From the Foster:

Rocky is an awesome dog!
He is super cuddly and loves napping. He gets so excited when one of his humans lays on the couch for cuddle time. He LEAPS on to the couch once he's been given permission. He loves his kennel; we kennel him because he likes it. He would do fine left out-he doesn't go up on counters and isn't destructive. He is very well behaved because he wants nothing more than to make his family happy. He loves to chew, but is pretty good at only chewing his toys.
He loves all humans, and I rarely hear him bark. We have been working on his jumping on people-he only does it now when he is REALLY excited, but he knows to get off and only receive pets when he is sitting down. When he is really excited his whole back end wiggles, but be warned his tail is a WHIP. For this reason, we think he would be best in a home with slightly older children who don't mind an excitable dog.
He knows his name and most basic commands. He doesn't need long walks or anything to get his energy out-he is a pretty mellow dog, but daily walks will still be necessary so his stubborn side doesn't come out :)
Rocky sounds awesome right? We know if you meet him you will fall in love! But, Rocky will take a little extra work when seeing and meeting dogs. Rocky sometimes gets stressed around other dogs. He succeeds with slow introductions to other dogs, only when both dogs are comfortable. Since Rocky wants to be the top dog, he does not do well with other dominant dogs. For this reason, we feel he would be best in a patient, loving home where he is the only pet.
We are looking for a family who is committed to making Rocky the best doggie citizen he can be. This would include patience, supervision, consistency, positive reinforcement, and maybe some behavior classes. He is super smart and eager to please, thus easy to teach!
Overall, Rocky would be a great addition to your life! If you want to cuddle this love bug furever, send your application our way!
