From the Foster: **fenced yard is a plus**

Nova came to us very shy, scared, and sad, but she has begun to open up and get used to her new life in a home. She is a very sweet and gentle puppy that will make a great addition to the right family once she gets to know them and can open up and gain some confidence.

Although she is the only dog her in foster home, we watched another dog for the weekend and she opened up completely with him around. When she has another dog around, she is a fun loving, very playful puppy. She also will chase balls and run around outside when she has another dog to play with. When she is the only puppy in the home, she becomes very reserved, shy, and is not playful at all. For this reason, we think that she will thrive in home with another dog.

Nova is great with small children as she does not jump or lick and is very gentle!

She loves being in her crate and lounging on the couch or outside in any shaded spot. She really likes to explore the yard, so a fenced yard would be a plus! She likes to chew on bones and toys, and seems to know the difference between what she can chew and what she cannot. When we got her, she seemed to have never have been on a walk, but she has learned that walks are fun! She has not shown that she knows any commands.
