From the Foster:

Are you looking for a no-frills-needed dog? Logan is yours! He is the most undemanding dog. Logan is happy either sitting by you while you read/watch TV or napping in his bed. When he wants interaction, he will let you know by finding you or letting out a soft bark indicating he wants to be included.

Logan is mostly blind. He can see shadows out of one eye and orients himself pretty well. He meanders through our house and follows us from one area to the next, just as well as our cats. Outside, he does happy sprints zipping around and enjoys spending time exploring. He has yet to indicate boredom or a desire to go inside. Logan is on a regular schedule and efficient when he goes outside, which is nice on cold mornings and nights. If he has to go out, he will do his spin dance or stand by the front door.

Unfortunately, Logan will not be a walking companion. Due to a hip injury, he has discomfort from walking more than a quarter mile (or less). But, he is road-trip approved! Logan will sit on your lap in the car...just make sure you don't plan to get up as he will fall asleep. :)

We have had him for three weeks and he is slowly becoming more expressive and curious of his surroundings (both inside and outside). We are working on his comfort with our front steps, as he is very cautious in going up and down them on his own. Given enough time, I believe he would become less nervous and master them. He will probably never be able to do a whole flight of stairs due to his imbalance and hips.

Logan is enjoying his later years in life and would do best in a home that will provide his need for peace and lots of sleep and the occasional snuggle. Maybe someone recently retired looking for a pal or someone who works from home and is looking for a quiet companion. He wouldn't do well if expected to be active. If you like Netflix marathons or reading for hours, Logan's your match. :)

Your favorite time of day will be going downstairs in the morning to find his little tail and body shaking with happiness and excitement in "seeing" you!
