From the Foster:

Leo is an incredibly sweet little boy in search of his forever home.  The first and most important thing to know is that he loves belly rubs more than anything in the world!  He is seriously obsessed, be ready for constant rolling over and adorable begging...   Leo loves to snuggle and spend time in your lap.  He started out as a shy guy but has gained more confidence and independence with time.  He is a perfect mix of calm and playful and will go with the flow.  He mostly plays by himself, and loves zooming around with little mice and squeaky toys!  Leo does well with my cats and is okay sharing a lap with them.  He was very scared of my larger dogs at first, but is fine with them now.  He does prefer they leave him alone and not get in his face.  I have not had him around kids, but assume he’d be ok with respectful ones.  He can be skittish, so too much commotion might overwhelm him.  While Leo was very quiet the first month with us, as he gained confidence he found his voice.  He likes to tell those pesky dogs and people outside who’s boss    Because of this he would do best in a home without shared walls.  Leo has been perfect when we are away and does well given free reign of the house.  However, I am mostly home with him and he’s only been alone for a few hours at a time.  He sleeps well at night and is fine either in bed with us or on his own.  Leo does well going potty outside when he’s kept on a schedule.  Once you figure out his pattern he's great!  He doesn’t have a signal when he needs to go out though, and might have an accident if he isn’t let out on time.  Leo has been my easiest foster and will make some lucky person or family a wonderful companion.  Please fill out an application if you would like to meet this amazing boy!
*Leo has a grade 3-4 heart murmur that will require regular monitoring.  He is doing well and has no symptoms, but it's possible it could cause problems in the future.  Please only apply if you are prepared for this and are able to give him the care he deserves.*
