From the Foster:
Once you earn Saydee's trust, she is the most loving, playful, fun, sweet dog you could ever imagine. She LOVES squeaky toys! And she's learned to "sit" very straight and properly when she would like something like her dinner or her bully stick.
That said, it took over two months to get Saydee to that point. You see, Saydee is a puppy mill survivor. She is very fearful of new places and things and is beyond terrified of loud (or loudish) noises. She has been very slow to house train and is still has frequent accidents. The first few weeks, she was too fearful of being outdoors to think about going potty outdoors, so it'll be important for her forever home to be set up to easily handle multiple accidents per day at first. The way Saydee has caught the hang of things is by copying her good friend, so a well-behaved second dog is pretty much a must for her.
These things aside, Saydee is a wonderful little girl who deserves the best life from here on out, not a kennel and multiple litters per year.
She is looking for someone to be patient and persistent with her fears and seek her unique, loving personality. Since new places and things are scary, someone who is ok leaving her home and especially someone who is a bit of a homebody themselves would love her companionship.
I am happy to discuss Saydee's needs so if you have questions or would like additional information, please complete an application today!
