From the Foster: You may notice that Sinbad has extremely bowed front legs! He does have a defect that has caused this and he's currently taking pain medication and supplements to manage this! I was recently treated for heartworms, let SHH know if you have any questions!

Sinbad fully believes in love at first sight. He has yet to meet a person he didn't immediately fall in love with. Big, little, male, female- he is not picky. If you make eye contact and follow that with petting him- you have won his heart. Do those two things long enough, maybe throw in some snuggling- and he will love you above all others. He is honestly the biggest lovey mushball of a dog I have ever met.

If you are looking for a marathon training buddy- Sinbad is not the dog for you. But if you have a more laid back lifestyle- you have just hit the jackpot in this dude. Want to binge watch something on the couch? Cook-out in the backyard with friends? Hanging out at the park down the street? Relaxing weekend up at the cabin? He's your guy. His hobbies include: snuggling (his head is resting on my arm as I type this), napping, short walks through the neighborhood or romps in the yard, more snuggling and napping, peeing outside, gazing at you with his soulful brown eyes until you forget you what you were supposed to be doing and start petting him instead...

Sinbad gets along well with most dogs- but does tend to be a bit on the bossy/dominant side- so dogs who are more submissive would be a better match. He would also be great as an only dog- that way he wouldn't feel like he had to keep up with another dog (cuz he will try!) and he'll get all the lovin's to himself! His front legs- are a bit wonky- and do slow him down a little... He has a couple medications/supplements to help him deal with the pain/arthritis that has developed. He can hop up onto beds/couches/into cars and he can do stairs- but a house where full staircases aren't required on the daily would probably make him pretty happy.
And- while he is a very chill + lovey doof, he's also all muscle, so he will need someone strong on the other end of his leash.

Sinbad really is an amazing dude. He is the biggest love. So great with my two boys (ages 5 and 7)- rolls over on his back for belly rubs as soon as they are within reach. He has an amazing smile and hilarious ears. And he just needs a family to snuggle with and call his own.
