From the Foster:

Sally is a sweet and independent cat who loves to play!  Sally always greets me at the door and wants to get some affection then.  However, after that, Sally prefers to do her own thing.  She is usually in the same room as me, but sitting in the window or on her own furniture.  She doesn't sit with me when I'm in the living room, and when I sleep, she comes in and out of the room while the light is on, but then sleeps somewhere else.
Sally would play all day if she could.  She loves cat dancers, and chasing things.  She loves hiding and pouncing.  Sally and I have been working on some play aggression, as well. She sometimes wants to play so much, that when it is time to be done, she will encourage me to continue playing, by biting and scratching.  We are working on redirecting this behavior, by reward the end of good play, and putting toys away as a signal, but she still hasn't quite been willing to accept the end.
Sally's independence carries to physical affection.  She doesn't like pets very much.  She will tell you when she's done with a swipe or a nip.  If you pay close attention to her, you can tell when it's time to stop before she gets too far.
She also has hilarious behaviors, such as covering her food bowls with anything that is nearby.  She drags my dishtowels over in order to cover up her food.  She also likes to chitter at birds and squirrels in my yard.  She is very nice with her claws on my furniture, but does use the cloth to help with her stretching.
