From the Foster:

Georgie is a very special little kitty. Since joining his foster family, Georgie has been working hard to fight against cat stereotypes of all kinds. You might typically think of cats as anti-social, independent, afraid of water, stand-offish, etc.; well not this guy! Georgie is one of the most social, loving, and entertaining cats out there.

Georgie's biggest love is cuddling, and he doesn't let anything get between him and his true love. Sometimes things try to stop him, or there might be a laptop or book in the way... but don't worry! He will still manage to wiggle his way to your lap, or snuggle up on your shoulder to purr right in your ear so you know just how much he loves you. Bonus points if your clothes are equipped with built-in toys like drawstrings or buttons- then he can cuddle AND play at the same time!

Georgie manages to surprise and charm everyone he meets. Don't let his age fool you, this old guy still has a LOT of spunk! Besides cuddling, his other hobbies include trying to catch the dog's ever-elusive tail, knocking things off counters, playing with shoe laces, or hopping in the shower with you to splash in the water a little bit!

Georgie was found as a local stray by animal control. He has some respiratory issues that cause him to be a little snotty and sneezy from time to time, and will likely need to be on medication to manage his symptoms indefinitely. While we don't know exactly what is causing his health issues, we do know that it doesn't seem to bother him, and that he is not contagious to other animals.

Georgie loves people and creatures of all kinds (all he really wants is warm bodies to snuggle with!). He would do well in a household with other animals, or as the sole pet as long as he gets a lot of love!

Georgie is a handsome fluffball that will undoubtedly steal your heart if you give him the chance!
