From the Foster:

Say hello to Gus!  I will just get the obvious out of the way, Gus is super handsome with amazing markings, beautiful green eyes, he is long, tall and sleek with super soft fur. When Gus first arrived he was a little on the shy side and really appreciated time and space to get to know his new surroundings and roommates before his personality shone thru. Gus lives with 2 big dog's which he doesn't mind because they respect his space. Gus is my only cat, he is pretty easy going so I suspect with proper slow intros he may like a buddy to play with in between nap times. Gus loves being pet and getting kisses and recently started giving them. Gus is not a lap cat, sometimes he'll do a half on half off but he loves to be close to you and in the morning you'll feel him slip under the blanket and snuggle in.

Things to know about Gus........
1) Gus is a gentleman and always uses his litter box
2) Gus shows no interest in human food or cat treats!
3) Never fear!...if you forget to refill his food dish he will remind you!
4) Gus is a great mix of chill and playful, he is not a needy cat and at 2.5 yrs old he is way to mature for kitten antics!
5)He loves to drink from the bathroom faucet and lay in the sink. Another thing to know in the morning when he jumps in bed with he likes to chew on and play with your hair. I swear he's getting goofier the longer he's here :)
6)Gus has been diagnosed with a 2-3 grade heart murmur, tests were done and nothing was found as a cause. This does not effect Gus and he isn't on any restrictions or medications!

So if your looking for a wonderful, sweet, independent but snuggly, curious and playful but mellow cat then Gus might be your guy!
